“Go, Slow, Whoa!” National Nutrition Month 2013

Thank you to everyone who helped make the “Go, Slow, Whoa!” Drive a success. We did nine presentations and outreached to over 125 people, from preschoolers to senior citizens. We are so proud of all the attendees and we hope that they can make some small changes in their snack choices and see large changes in their overall health!

March is National Nutrition Month, and HEAL-SLO needs your help! Together, we can set a record for the number of “Go, Slow, Whoa!” presentations given in the month of March. This presentation teaches audiences of all ages how to make healthy choices by using a stop light to snack right. Presentations last 20-30 minutes and are interactive in nature. We are available Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm the entire month of March. Please contact us if you would like a free, interactive, and fun presentation!
