Jr. Olympic Skills Competition

The Jr. Olympic Skills Competition is a FREE national grassroots skills competition that provides both, boys and girls, the opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities in 4 sports – basketball, soccer, tennis and track & field.  Last year a child from San Luis Obispo won gold at the National Competition!  Read on…. Jr. Olympic Skills Competition encourages youth participation in sport and emphasizes fair and friendly competition. Youngsters can participate in any or all of the individual sports and advance through 3 levels of competition, including Local, Regional and the National Finals. Each sport is scored individually and the boys and girls compete separately.
Last year a child from San Luis Obispo won gold at the National Competition.

Registration: March 22 through Day of Event, Saturday April 25 at 9:00 a.m. Event begins at 10:00 a.m. Old Pacheco Elementary School (off Grand & Slack St., San Luis Obispo) Each participant must provide a valid birth certificate upon the date of competition. Age verification is below:

Ages 8-9 born between 9/1/1999 – 8/31/2001

Ages 10-11 born between 9/1/1997 – 8/31/1999

Ages 12-13 born between 9/1/1999 – 8/31/1997
